Terms of use
Last updated 2026-10-27
These terms apply to the website usualshift.com and to the apps published by UsualShift on the App Store and Google Play. An app may add its own terms; if so, they are shown in the app and on its store page.
Who we are
UsualShift is an entrepreneur individuel (EI, a French sole proprietorship) based at 8 bis rue Abel, 75012 Paris, France, SIREN 130 962 053. Contact: contact@usualshift.com. Full legal details are in our mentions légales.
Using our apps
- We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use our apps on devices you own or control, within these terms and your app store's rules.
- Don't misuse the apps: no attempts to break their security, overload our servers, reverse engineer them beyond what the law allows, or use them to break the law or harm others.
- If an app has accounts, keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete it at any time (how).
- We may suspend an account that seriously breaks these terms, after warning you where possible.
Your content
What you create in our apps stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to store, process and sync it to provide the service to you. We don't use your content for anything else.
Purchases and subscriptions
- Paid features are sold through the App Store or Google Play, under their payment terms. Prices are shown before you confirm.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your store settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies (see Support). This does not affect your legal rights as a consumer.
- For iOS apps, Apple's standard licence agreement also applies, unless the app provides its own.
Intellectual property
The UsualShift name, logo, website and apps (design, text, code, graphics) belong to UsualShift or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission, except as the law allows.
Availability and changes
We work to keep our apps and website available and reliable, but we can't promise they will never be interrupted. We may update the apps to improve them or fix problems. If we stop offering an app with paid features, we'll tell you in advance.
Liability
We are responsible for the apps working as described. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, or for problems caused by your device, your internet connection, or third-party services. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under French and EU law, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll tell app users in the app before they apply.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. If you have a problem, contact us first at contact@usualshift.com: we'll try to solve it with you. If you are a consumer, you can also use a consumer mediator free of charge, and you keep the right to go to the courts competent under the law.
