Delete your account and data

This page applies to every app published by UsualShift (entrepreneur individuel, Paris, France) on the App Store and Google Play. You can delete your account and the data linked to it at any time, for free.

Option 1: from the app

1. Open the app and go to Settings.
2. Tap Account, then Delete account.
3. Confirm. Your account is deleted straight away and the remaining data within 30 days, as described below.

Option 2: by email

If you no longer have the app, or can't sign in:

1. Email contact@usualshift.com with the subject Delete my account.
2. Send it from the email address linked to your account, and tell us which app it is.
3. We confirm receipt within 7 days and finish the deletion within 30 days. If we can't check that the account is yours, we'll ask you one simple question first.

What is deleted

• Your account and profile (name, email address, sign-in details)
• Content you created in the app
• Settings and preferences stored on our servers
• Usage and diagnostic data linked to your account

What may be kept, and for how long

• Backups: removed automatically within 30 days.
• Records the law requires us to keep, such as invoices for direct sales: up to 10 years, as required by French accounting law. Purchases made through Apple or Google are recorded by them, not by us.
• Anonymous statistics that cannot identify you.

Delete some data, keep your account

You can delete individual items from inside the app. To ask us to delete a specific kind of data without closing your account, email contact@usualshift.com and say what you want removed.

Deleting an app from your phone does not delete your account, and does not cancel a subscription. Cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play settings.
